Our Mission Statement

J&D Cares exists to meet people where they are, when they need it most. Founded by Jenniffer Dieringer after overcoming homelessness and hardship firsthand, J&D Cares is built on the belief that every person deserves dignity, compassion, and to be seen as a human being first.

Our mission is simple: compassion always, judgment never.

Through direct street outreach, J&D Cares provides practical support such as blankets, sleeping bags, socks, coffee, and survival supplies to individuals experiencing homelessness or hardship. More importantly, we provide something many people have been denied for too long—respect, conversation, and human connection.

Everything we do is guided by three core foundations:

• Human Being First – Every person deserves dignity, compassion, and respect regardless of their circumstances.
• Love & Compassion Every Time – We choose kindness and understanding in every interaction.
• Meet People Where They Are – Instead of expecting people in crisis to navigate systems alone, we bring help directly to them in the places they are.

J&D Cares is committed to transparency, community partnership, and using every resource entrusted to us to directly support outreach efforts. Our goal is not only to provide immediate relief but also to remind people who feel forgotten that they still matter.

At its heart, J&D Cares is about turning lived experience into action—using compassion, presence, and practical support to bring hope to the streets and dignity to every human being we encounter.
